The Lagos State Police Command has recovered a prohibited stunning pistol of Pastor Paul Adefarasin, founder of House on the Rock Church, after a viral video that shows it by holding an object similar to a gun against another road user.

“What recovered from him, the object similar to the gun seen in the viral video, is not a lethal gun or firearm, but an electric gun that is a prohibited riot equipment.
“The pastor has been awarded the bond while the investigations continue in the case,” reads the statement.
The controversy comes from a video clip that arose online that shows the Pastor Adafasin holding what seemed to be a firearm while facing a road user.
The video, which quickly went viral, was filmed by a content creator based in Lagos known for exhibiting luxury vehicles.
