The former Minister of State for Transportation, Prince Adegoroye, has asked the Nigerians, regardless of political affiliation, that they meet behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in his attempt to re -election in 2027.
Adegoroye emphasized that national unity and continuity in governance are crucial to consolidate the profits of economic reforms and ongoing development initiatives.
He said this while talking during the celebration of the fifth anniversary and the inauguration of the new executives of a socio -political movement rooted in Yoruba cultural values ​​and progressive ideology, opomulero.
He pointed out that President Tinubu has laid the foundations for a transformed economy and deserves the support of all Nigerians to see it.
“President Tinubu inherited a country that faces serious economic challenges, but has shown a bold leadership through the reforms that his administration is implementing.
“What we need now is stability and continuity to ensure that these efforts are not invested,” said Adregoroye.
He pointed out that many of the current difficulties are short -term sacrifices that will produce long -term benefits, especially in sectors such as infrastructure, transport and energy.
He said: “All countries that have achieved sustainable growth had to pass through a restructuring phase.

The former minister urged political leaders, civil society groups and young people to put national interest over partisan feelings and recognize the importance of unity to achieve a prosperous Nigeria.
He praised President Tinubu's commitment to inclusive governance, citing their appointments of competent individuals in ethnic and regional lines as a reflection of his desire to build a united nation.
Adegoroye concluded expressing his confidence that with sustained support, the re -election of Tinubu would consolidate economic recovery, create more jobs and strengthen national security.
Speaking about the theme “Politics in Nigeria: yesterday, today and tomorrow”, Adegoroye described Nigeria's political evolution as a trip marked by judgments, resilience and changing democratic landscapes.
He praised President Tinubu as a brave leader who has taken bold measures to reposition the country, particularly through economic restructuring and infrastructure development.
He said: “We must give this administration the time and support necessary to finish what began. Governance is a marathon, not a sprint.
“What President Tinubu has begun in terms of reforms may seem difficult now, but they are necessary for long -term growth and prosperity.”
However, the former minister accused the members of the Opomulero Group to act as ambassadors of unity and progress in his various communities, promoting dialogue, civic commitment and ideals of good governance.
Carrying out the formal inauguration of the new executives, the director general of Opomulero, Mr. Olaupo Olakunori, praised the members for their unwavering commitment to the group's mission in the last five years.
He reiterated that the group was established not only to protect Yoruba interests but also to contribute significantly to national development.
Olakunori also announced that Opomulero is ready to organize a march of one million men in support of the second period ambition of President Tinubu.
According to him, the march, scheduled to take place in several southwest states, will demonstrate the basic support for the president's reform and re -election agenda in 2027.
“This is not just a political march; it is a movement of conviction. President Tinubu remains the best candidate to take Nigeria during this transformation period.
“We are mobilizing at all levels (markets, communities, student unions) to ensure that this message is high and clear,” said Olakunori.
Also speaking at the event, president of the state of Ondo of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Eng. In Adetimehin, he reaffirmed the commitment of the party to implement policies centered on people who would improve the quality of life at the state and federal level.
He urged the Nigerians to remain hopeful and patients as the effects of government reforms begin to manifest.
