Naira's Friday experienced a slight depreciation in the official market, quoting N1,528.56 to one dollar.
The data obtained from the website of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) showed that La Naira lost N2.73.
This represents a loss of 0.17 percent compared to N1,525.82 registered on Thursday.

La Naira, who opened the week of Monday with a gain of N9.52 against the dollar in the official market, had stable profits until Thursday.
On Wednesday, the local currency won N3.42 against the dollar and received praise from the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
The IMF, in its consultation report of article IV of 2025 on Nigeria, praised the CBN for its foreign currency market reforms that supported the discovery and price liquidity.
