The singer of Tanzania-Nigeria, Juma Jux, has shed light on the emotional and spiritual process that led his wife, Priscilla Eye, hugging Islam ahead of his very celebrated wedding.
In a recent interview with Afrik Media, the singer reflected on the challenges he faced to guide Priscilla, daughter of the Nigerian actress Iyabo Eye, through a deeply personal religious transition.
He described the experience as emotionally demanding, noting that he required time, patience and support of Islamic academics and devout people who advised him on the appropriate approach.
The singer explained that he trusted the lessons of religious leaders who encouraged him to proceed gently, offering practical advice on how to involve Priscilla in discussions about Islam.

This stable and compassionate approach, said, finally helped her to better understand faith and led to acceptance.
When asked if it was difficult to convince her to convert to Islam, he said: “Yes, a little. On the other hand, he was receiving lessons from religious leaders.
