The Nigerian singer nominated for Grammy, Davido, has reached another milestone that defines the race as his fourth studio album, Timeles, has been officially certified silver in the United Kingdom.
Run on March 31, 2023, Timeless has continued to break the barriers, overcoming the transmission graphics in Spotify Nigeria, Audiomack, Boomplay and YouTube. The 17 -track album shows the versatility of Davido, Fusing Afrobeats, Dancehall, Reggae, Konto, Highlife and Afropop.
The project presents a variety of first level collaborations, such as Asake, Skepta, Dexta Daps, Fave, The Cavemen and Angelique Kidjo winner of Grammy.
Beyond its commercial success, Timeless earned Davido a Grammy nomination for the best global music album. His successful singles “not available” and “Feel” also received Grammy gloves for the best performance in the African song and the best performance in the global song, respectively. The album won a nomination at the Headies Awards for Song of the Year.
After its launch, Davido launched The Timeless Tour, acting to multitudes with exhausted tickets in the main cities such as Washington DC, Toronto, New York and London, cementing with the global legacy of the album.
