The southwest of the NNPP has criticized the Federal Government’s plan to increase the salaries of the holders of political positions, including the president, the vice president, the ministers and others, describing the movement as “unnecessary, insensitive and morally in bankruptcy” in the light of the current economic difficulties of Nigeria.
