Decrying the poor statistics of the people so far registered, Hon. Kalu said it could have implications for the capacity of the region to influence the results of the future elections.

He stressed that the active participation of the region in the process would allow people to completely exercise their franchise and choose their appropriate leaders during the elections.

Therefore, the vice president encouraged people to take advantage of the opportunity offered by the electoral referee to visit the registration centers around him and enroll in mass in the current exercise.

“If we want development, we must demonstrate that we want to be part of the decision -making mechanism and that begins preparing to vote and be voted. Beyond the lines of the party, that the region shows our force by the volume of registered voters of the IGBO nation.

“This is an opportunity to be part of the government’s decision -making mechanism.

“Development is for each one and democracy has dividends to participate, therefore, let’s participate now,” said Hon Kalu.
