The Nigerian Association of Resident Physicians (NARD) has requested the Association of Real Estate Developers of Nigeria (Redan) on the delayed refund of one of its members to its subscribers of the aggrieved housing scheme.

According to Dr. Osundara Tope, the president of Nard, and Dr. Odunbanku Kazeem Oluwashola, the Secretary General, the association had presented payment evidence to Bob Daniel Nigeria Limited, owned by Mr. Daniel Orji, more than three weeks ago, but has not yet reimbursed the money as agreed.

“Instead of paying the money as agreed by all the parties involved, Mr. Orji has decided to play another trick, one of the many he has done in the past, to divert the quick payment of that money. Mr. Orji is Catty and Cunninngly in his business with us,” Dr. Tope and Oluwashola said in a statement.

Nard leaders pointed out that Mr. Orji has not denied raising money from its members and has not fulfilled the agreement reached more than four years ago.

It was not breached, and all means to solve it friendly have been fulfilled with failed promises. This is their usual action in commerce, ”they added.

The Association expressed its disappointment that, despite the intervention of Redan, Mr. Orji has shown a lack of will to participate in a peaceful resolution and

“We have been calming the nerves of our members harmed by the hope of a quick resolution through the intervention of Redan. However, it is now evident that Mr. Orji is a participant not arranged in this Pacific Pact,” he reads in the statement.

Therefore, Nard has asked Redan to ensure that Mr. Orji maintains maximum professionalism, integrity, trust and responsibility in the shortest possible time.

“We call on your body to call Mr. Orji to maintain maximum professionalism, integrity, trust and responsibility in the shortest possible time of the next 3 days,” the association urged.

Dr. Osundara also mentioned that all attempts to make EFCC investigate the matter has been abortive, claiming that Orji also has those who work with him within the police hierarchy.
