Variable rental investors lose N394.5bn while bears persists in NGX

Bears persist in the Nigerian exchange (NGX) as sales activities in some Bellwethers the general market on Wednesday.

The profit activities continued in the National Account, since the sale of the sale of the properties of Aradel, the Nigerian breweries, United Bank for Africa and Guaranty Trust Bank drove the lower All-Share index at 0.4 percent to 138,159.25 basic points that submerged at 0.5 percent, 5.7 percent, 2.0 percent and 1.1 percent respectively.

Total market capitalization hired by N394.45 billion to N87.42 billion.

Consequently, monthly and year yields to date settled lower at -1.5 percent and +34.2 percent, respectively.

The feeling of the market remained off, as evidenced by a negative amplitude with 14 actions that advance compared to 43 decline.

On the performance board, Legend Internet Service and Learn Africa registered the most significant losses of the day after their respective actions of shares fell by 10 percent, while Segura and John Holt electronic technology led the winners after the prices of their actions were appreciated in 9.1 percent and 7.9 percent, respectively.

Sectorial performance was widely negative since insurance indices, consumer goods, banking and oil and gas decreased by 4.5 percent, 1.3 percent, 0.8 percent, 0.9 percent and 0.4 percent, respectively, while the Industrial Goods Index advanced by 0.2 percent.

The commercial activity presented a mixed image since the number of agreements decreased by 9.43 percent to 28,193, the commercial value collapsed by 50.52 percent to N19.67 billion, while the negotiation volume increased significantly by 19.34 percent to 482.76 million units.

Access Holdings was the most negotiated by volume action at 43.03 million units, while Aradel Holdings was the most negotiated action by N6.46 billion.
