“There is no more dad, don’t call me,” Oteedola tells his daughter at the wedding

The businessman and author of the Nigerian billionaire, Femi Otedola, has stirred emotions with a sincere speech at his daughter, Temi, with the singer of Afrobeats, Mr. Eazi.

Speaking at the ceremony, Oteedola told the first time that Temi introduced the musician in 2017.

He admitted to being skeptical due to Eazi’s dreadlocks, but said that a spiritual conviction assured him that the singer was destined to be his daughter’s husband.

“In 2017, Temi said I wanted to introduce myself to Tosin. I said any problem, I brought it. I saw his dreadlocks and I thought, well … but something surprised me that day. My parents were prophets, so I have that strong intuition. Something told me that this is the husband of Temi. Eight years later, the dream has come true,” Otedola said.

The billionaire also revealed how two fences almost interrupted the couple’s plans, but insisted that the events showed that their union was divinely blessed.

He recalled that his commitment in Dubai almost coincided with the outbreak of conflict between Israel and Iran, and that a storm then destroyed the store for his wedding.

“This wedding is blessed by my God,” he said.

In his advice for the newly married, Oteedola urged Temi to respect her husband and allow her to take the initiative, emphasizing: “He is her husband and boss; no more dad, don’t call me.”

He also encouraged Mr. Eazi to continue loving his girlfriend, adding that both should avoid involving third parties in their marriage problems.

Otedola praised the couple’s shared business impulse, describing them as a “couple made in the sky.”

Last month, Tribune Online reported that Temi and Eazi had married in the Hallgrimskirkja church in Reykjavik, Iceland, in the presence of their brothers, parents, businessman Aliko Dangote, comedian Brodeshaggi and other nearby associates.

On Friday night, the couple exclusively launched their wedding photos to Vogue magazine.

The publication described its union as a “global wedding”, with celebrations in Monaco, Dubai and Iceland.
