The Chapter of the State of Lagos of the Congress of all progressives (APC) has responded to the former governor of OSun, Rauf Aregbesola, for his statement that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) would take control of the Government House of Aso Rock and Lagos in 2027.
Reacting in a statement on Saturday, the APC spokesman in Lagos, Hon. Seye Oladejo said that Aregbesola’s jactor was nothing more than a desperate commitment for relevance, describing it as “political suicide of the highest order.”
Oladejo accused Aregbesola of trying to destroy the same political platform that raised him from the commissioner in Lagos to the governor of Osun and later to the minister, insisting that “betrayal is not a political strategy.”

According to him, the ADC made an error when projecting Aregbesola as an arrow tip, emphasizing that such movement would only lead the party to failure.
“Lagos and Nigeria are not conquered by Soundbites. Our people vote for performance, not fairy tales. The APC record is visible on roads, in our schools, in our hospitals and in our reforms,” said Oladejo.
He added that the Nigerians would reward APC for delivery in 2027, while Aregbesola and ADC would face “a verification of reality” in the surveys.
