This year, Time Out’s 2025 survey to thousands of residents worldwide, enriched with expert ideas, revealed the final classification of the best cities in nightlife.
As the saying goes, everything works and no game makes Jack a boring child. However, choosing the right city to relax after a demanding day is not always easy.

1. Las Vegas

The cultural capital of Australia, Melbourne, wins its place with its eclectic lanes, creative bars and live music. The locals describe their nightlife as diverse, affordable and deeply connected to the artistic scene of the city.
7. Brighton
The English coastal city surprises with its combination of traditional pubs, beach clubs and music festivals. Brighton’s alternative and inclusive spirit distinguishes it as one of the most exciting party destinations in the United Kingdom.
8. Mexico City
The nightlife of Mexico City reflects its cultural mix. Salsa clubs, canteens and modern cocktails share the streets with vibrant musical scenes, creating a nightlife that is as energetic as the city itself.
9. Dubai
Dubai’s nightlife is defined by glamor and luxury. Roof bags, beach clubs and exclusive night view points attract an international crowd, which makes it a center of the Middle East for fun after darkness.
10. Mumbai
Bollywood’s hometown brings his unique style to nightlife. From clubs full of stars to affordable street markets that remain open until late, the mixture of glamor and tradition of Mumbai makes it one of the fastest party capitals in Asia.
11. Cape Town
Cabo del Cabo is the best classified city in Africa on the list, with 77 percent of the locals that qualify their night life positively. From bustling long street bars to roof halls with mountain views, the city offers affordability and variety.
12. Warsaw
Warsaw has constantly built a reputation for its prosperous club scene. The locals point out underground bars, live music and affordable places late at night, as key reasons, it is among the best.
13. Bangkok
Bangkok is still one of the powers of Asia’s nightlife. From roof bars with a view to the Chao Phraya river to night markets and clubs all over the night, the city combines tradition with modernity in its night culture.
14. Lagos
The Cultural Center of Nigeria, Lagos, ensures 14th place on the list. The city is recognized for its nightlife inspired by Afrobeat, Raves underground and a vibrant club scene. About 79 percent of the locals praise their inclusion and energy, reinforcing their reputation as one of the most exciting cities in Africa after dusk.
Tribune Online reports that the ‘Detty December’ festivities generated no less than $ 71.6 million in revenue last year, with most of the nightlife activities.

19. Marrakech
Marrakech is known for its roof halls, luxury bars and the mixture of Moroccan tradition with modern nightlife. Seventy -two percent of residents qualify it highly, citing security and atmosphere.
20. Athens
Athens completes the list with a culture of nightlife that balances the old funds with modern energy. The Greek capital offers everything, from bohemian bars in exarcheia to roof clubs overlooking acropolis.
