The call, which came from friends, associates and fans of all the political parties of the State, described Agaka as a respected son of Ilorin’s Emirate.
The candidate for governor was received in Illorin by a multitude of followers shortly after her arrival of Abuja at the General Airport Tunde Idiagbon, Ilorin, amid Funfair and Solidarity songs.
Speaking during the reception, the engineer Agaka expressed his gratitude to people for their belief in their capacity, ensuring their preparation to serve the State in greater capabilities beyond their successful civil service career.
According to him, “Kwara is at a critical situation that requires leadership with purpose and focused on people backed by experience, exposure and integrity.
He averaged his willingness to deploy his wealth of knowledge and managerial experience to reposition the State on the path of good governance and sustainable growth if the opportunity is given.
“I feel really honored for the trust and support that is shown today. The pressure of the well -intentioned Kwarans to take a step forward to obtain more responsibilities has been consistent, and I do not assume it.
“I am prepared to serve with sincerity, inclusion and a clear vision to change the narration of governance in Kwara,” he said.
While noting that he has not formally joined any political party, the engineer Agaka praised his friends in divisions for organizing a reception of return home so massive.
He stressed that the clamor for credible leadership is beyond the lines of the party, since the people of the State yearn for a governance with purpose that will deliver the dividends of democracy to its doors.
