The Nigerian stock market suffered a bullish impulse on Thursday, with the NGX All-Share index (thus) winning 0.16 percent to close at 142,263.07 basic points.
The market concentration was supported by a persistent purchase interest in Guinness Nigeria, Dangote Sugar, Guarantee Trust Holding Company and Nigerian Breweries, which led to a respective growth of 10.00 percent, 3.33 percent, 0.74 percent and 1.71 percent in their actions of actions.
Market capitalization is also appreciated for N143.51 billion or 0.16 percent, bouncing above the N90.00 billion threshold.
As a result, the yield to date to the highest date at 38.22 percent of 38.00 percent in the previous session, while the monthly was established more in 1.4 percent.
The feeling of the market was positive, since there were more winners compared to the losers, with 30 against 20.
The main winners included Guinness Nigeria, Eunisell interconnected, Regal Insurance, Thomas Wyatt and Mcnichols consolidated, while the consolidated Hallmark insurance, the initiates, the Omatek companies and the coronation insurance were among the main losers.
Sectorial performance closed mixed, with bench decreases and insurance by 0.23 percent and 1.07 percent, respectively, while sectors of consumer, oil and gas, industrial and basic products increased by 0.75 percent, 0.28 percent, 0.01 percent and 0.16 percent, respectively.
Meanwhile, the feeling of investors was negative, with a general activity of the weak market, since the volume and commercial value fell significantly at 67.64 percent and 65.86 percent to 325.11 million units valued at N8.42 billion in 22,779 agreements.
Access Holdings dominated the volume table with 37.24 million negotiated units, while Zenith Bank led the Securities Board with agreements worth N1.60 billion.
