The Kogi West senator, Sunday Karimi, visited the area of the local government of Yagba West to pity with the families of those who lost their lives in the attack of last week by the bandits.
No less than five security agents, three police officers and two guards were killed during the unfortunate incident that threw the area into duel, which resulted in prolonged protests.
Upon arriving at ODO ERE, the headquarters of the West Council of Yagba, Senator Karimi was conded with the families of the victims and the community.

He warned young people to remain respectful of the law and vigilantes.
He also advocated synergy and a holistic society approach to stop the growing insecurity.
He prayed for the restoration of peace in Nigeria, noting that federal and state governments have continued to fight to ensure the life of the population.

The legislator proceeded to the Nigerian police force (EGBE Division), where he was sympathized with the officers for the loss of his colleagues. He encouraged them to remain strong and patriotic. He donated 1 million to the widows and families of each of the three police officers who lost their lives in the attack of armed men.
He went to the houses of the vigilantes killed in Egbe, whose names were given as Dekunle Adodo and Kayode Joshua.
He prayed with his families while offering words of breath, pointing out that he shared his pains.
He donated unleashed amounts to families to relieve their pain and assured them their support immediately.
He took a walk to Sunday Ajawe, one of the voters who was attacked in a more recent attack, and also made donations.
In the Egbe Palace in Egbe, Oba Ayodele Irukera, where he addressed and offered financial support to a meeting of young people in the LGA, Senator Karimi reiterated his plea for peace, surveillance and patriotism. He warned his constituents to stop the “drop -down syndrome” and cooperate to develop the senatorial district.
The senator, who was on a trip abroad when the incident occurred, had monitored development from abroad, made critical contacts with interested parties and relevant agencies to see that peace and normality were restored..
