The politician and lawyer, Kenneth Okonkwo, has asked for the investigation of the only immediate immediate administrator of the state of Rivers, Ibok Ekwe Ibas.
Okonkwo made the call on Monday during an appearance in Sunrise Daily, a channel television show.
The Nollywood actor said that the people who determined the affairs of the rivers during the state of emergency were strangers without direct participation in the state.

“Strictly speaking, let me tell the people of the rivers and any other state in Nigeria. They must learn from this. When they are discouraged in their state, strangers will be brought to divert their resources.
“This state of emergency in the state of Rivers was not delivered. All of them were from the same political family, whether Wike or Fubara. Therefore, it was unnecessary. They should learn and any other state should learn.
“Have you noticed that all the people who decided the fate of the state of Rivers in this period of emergency state were all strangers?
“For example, President Bola Tinubu de Lagos or the State of Osun, as is called.
