The interested parties in the presentation of Edo’s talent search have requested support for creativity in the state of Edo to encourage budding talents in the entertainment industry.
Interested parties, among those who were politicians, entertainment gurus and investors in the private sector, said talent hunting remained an opportunity for young people in the state to show their talents in several creative and entertainment efforts.
They made the position in the official presentation of the search for talents of Edo that was held at the Creative Victor Uwaifo, Benin City, Edo State Capital.
Speaking at the event, the founder of Edo Talent Hunt, Mrs. Esther Edokpayi Ebagua, said the platform was designed to discover, develop and show the rich cultural heritage and the immense talent of people in the state of Edo, the South-South and Nigeria region in general.
He added that the platform adds to discovering and promoting emerging talents to promote cultural preservation and community empowerment, in addition to providing a scenario for talented people to show their skills.
According to her, participants of the 18 areas of the local government of the State were expected, and added that “the talents unknown today in this region will become the celebrities of tomorrow and we need the help and collaboration of all so that this happens. As founder of this initiative. I am excited to share this trip with all of you.
“Edo Talent Hunt is more than a simple event; it is a movement to hunt, discover, develop and celebrate talent, creativity, art and diversity that our states define in the south -sur,” he explained.
He appealed to the governor on Monday Okpebholo and omo N’oba N’edo Uku akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare II, Oba de Benin, to support efforts to bring people edo and make the State a better place.
For its part, the organizing committee of Hunt, Adesuwa Lato, requested the sponsorship and collaboration that makes the event a success.
“His support would not only raise this initiative but also contribute significantly to the preservation and promotion of our cultural identity,” he reiterated.
Adesuwa said that while the registration form would be N10,000, the winner would go home with a Toyota Camry 2022 model, N3 million N3 million Naira prize and a 5 -year recording stamp agreement.
The first finalist, he added, would get N2 million, while the second finalist would obtain N1 million.
In his message of goodwill, a former youth leader of the Congress of all progressives (APC), Sur-Sur, Gabriel Iduseri, while praising the organizers called people in the private sector to give their support to the initiative, and added that it would reduce the restitution and unemployment of young people.
He promised to be part of the project, promote and contribute its quota to carry out the search for talent.
For Kelly Okungowa, also known as ABO Stone, when young people are committed, it would reduce the rate of bodybuilding, unemployment and other forms of social vices through this initiative.
The grand finale of the project is invoiced on January 14, 2025.
