The American rapper and singer, Sean John Comink, popularly known as Sean Diddy, has been sentenced to 50 months in prison for his conviction for two crimes related to prostitution.
You will receive credit for the time fulfilled, since it has been 12 months at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.
According to ABC News, before the sentence was read, combs apologized in court, saying: “I have been humiliated and broken in my nucleus.”
Federal prosecutors had pressed for at least 11 years in prison, while their defense team requested no more than 14 months.
When the sentence was announced, combs sat inexpressively, his hands squeezed in his lap, his head slightly down.
Judge Arun Subramanian, who presided over the case, thanked Cassie Ventura and another witness identified as “Jane” for his testimony.
“You put your power standing,” said the judge. “The number of people you reached is incalculable.”
He also recognized the success and commercial impact of combs on the black community, pointing out: “I have considered the fact that you are an artist and entrepreneur made to yourself who has inspired and raised the communities. Its work history, the impact on the black community and entrepreneurship are celebrated and iconic.”

The judge further praised the combs for getting sober, but made it clear that his past achievements could not erase the seriousness of the crimes.
“A story of good works cannot wash the record in this case,” said Subramanian. “You used that abuse to get out with your way, especially when it came to ‘Freak-Offs’ and hotel nights. This was subjugation, and promoted both Mrs. Ventura and Jane to think about finishing their lives. That is the reality of what happened.”
He added that the behavior covered more than a decade and occurred “with a tremendous frequency,” stating that combs “paid and organized these acts.”
