Popular rapper Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael also known as Zlatan Ibile has criticized the Nigerian government for failing to address the country’s growing economic difficulties.

In an interview with Madame Joyce in the United Kingdom, Zlatan said Nigerians have become so accustomed to suffering that it now feels normal.

“We are used to suffering and smiling, that is how it has always been and the government does nothing about it,” he stated.

Reacting to British rapper Dave’s satire on flashy clubbers and beggars outside Nigerian clubs, Zlatan expressed concern that hardship and inequality have become a part of daily life.

He also described some beggars as entitled people, noting that many rely on handouts rather than seeking productive ways to earn a living.

Zlatan urged street beggars to take meaningful initiatives to improve their lives.
