Nigerian rapper Olamide Adedeji, known professionally simply as Olamide, has addressed the belief that he is shy.
In a recent interview on Ada’s Room, Baddo explained that he is not shy but relaxed.
“One thing I would like people to understand about me is that I’m not shy, I’m just laid-back,” he said.
During the interview, the host asked, “What is the difference between shy and relaxed?”
Olamide responded: “Shy is when you don’t have the confidence and charisma to stand people or look them in the eye or chat with them. But being laid-back, you just don’t want to be bothered. People think I’m shy, but I’m not.”
The rapper’s clarification comes as many fans and media observers have often described him as reserved, but Olamide Baddo stressed that his calm demeanor should not be mistaken for a lack of confidence.
