People of Ifelodun community in Agunbelewo, Osogbo, Osun State, have congratulated Governor Ademola Adeleke on his re-election, describing his victory as a demonstration of the trust reposed in him by the people of the state.
The congratulatory message was contained in a statement signed by the Chairman of the Ifelodun Community in Agunbelewo, Osogbo, Pastor Abimbola Okeyinka, and the Secretary of the Community, Mr. Maruf Usamotu, and made available to journalists by the Community Public Officer, Dr. Atoyebi Olumuyiwa.
The community noted with pride as Governor Adeleke emerged victorious in all electoral units within Ifelodun community, saying the result reflected the community’s appreciation for his administration and his commitment to the welfare and development of the town.
The community also expressed its deep gratitude to Yeye Dupe Adeleke, sister of the governor, for her generous donation towards the purchase of the necessary accessories for the community transformer.
The gesture, according to community leaders, demonstrated their concern for the development and well-being of the town.
On the other hand, they appealed to the governor to reciprocate the community’s support by urgently addressing some of the community’s infrastructure challenges, including asphalting and rehabilitation of the community’s main road and also complementing the project with the installation of solar-powered street lights.
They said the project would improve transportation, improve safety, stimulate economic activities and contribute significantly to the overall development of the community.
The community assured Governor Adeleke of their continued support and cooperation, while expressing confidence that his administration would favorably consider their requests.
