APC Leader Advises Party Heads Against Boycotting Zamfara Local Government Elections

Must Read

There was once a man named Barrister Sani Mohammad Takori. He was an important person in a group called the All Progressive Congress, or APC for short. Takori really wanted his group to take part in a big event. This event was the local government elections happening soon in a place called Zamfara State.

One day, Takori spoke to some news people in a place called Gusau. He said, “If our group, APC, does not join the election, it will be a very bad idea. It would be like trying to do something impossible.”

There were whispers and ideas going around that maybe APC wouldn’t join the election. But these were just guesses because no one from APC said anything official about it.

Takori warned, “Skipping the election would not only be bad for APC, but also for everyone in the group. This includes people who had both good and bad times in the past, like in the year 2023.”

Some people in the APC were scared that another group, called PDP, might try to cheat in the election. But Takori said this is not a good reason to stay away from the election.

He explained, “Long ago, elections in our country were often unfair, not just here but everywhere. The last time the elections were fair was way back in 1999.”

But now, Takori shared some good news. He said, “Zamfara State has some really strong and smart leaders now. These leaders can make things better, just like it happened in other places.”
