The general secretary of the ruling house of Fusengbuwa, in Ijebu -ode, Prince Adeyemi, has said that the Awujale de Ijebulend throne is hereditary, and states that applicants who take over the real seat must have direct blood ties with the family.
He explained that the ruling house, according to tradition and law, would produce the next monarch, after the death of Oba Sikiru Koyode Adetona in July.
Adelev said: “The Awujale stool is a hereditary throne and will generally turn or turn between people from the same ancestor or common, in this case, Awujale Fusengbuwa.
“Those who do not belong to the family are totally excluded. Stranges without direct blood ties with Fusengbuwa are not eligible to dispute for feces.”
The secretary general pointed out that the law of the 1959 bosses appointed the ruling house Ruling House after Awujale Fusengbuwa so that it is explicit that only the direct descendants of Fusengbuwa have the right to compete for the vacancy of Awujale.
“The law of the 1959 bosses also states that the candidates for the Awujale vacancy must be members of the ruling house of Fusengbuwa, and (b) come from the line of male offspring. If the descendants of the female line qualified through the bloodline cannot be considered.
“This rotation of the feces among the different male lines of the same ruling house is not new. Anikilaya Ruling House produced two awujales of two different male lines: Awujale Adelev Ogbagba (1896–1906), Yy Awujale Ademol Fesogbade (1916–1925). Also the same pattern: AWUJAL (1916–1925). (1916-1925).
“It is common knowledge that the ruling house of FusEngbuwa has eight different units. Among them, these two male lines have the main right to present candidates: the Olufadi line, from Olufadekemi, the first abidagba of Fusengbuwa (that is, the other son of monarch) and the other son of monarch), and the other son of Monching Mayits. Olufadi or Tunwase lines.
“The royal family is great and extensive and we are all one and we continue to welcome all the distant relations of the ruling house,” he said.
He argued that the main right to feces is restricted to the descendants of the male line and the secondary right to feces is restricted to the descendants of the female line.
“Traditionally, the first male Abidagba, Olufadi, kept the antiquity inside the ruling house. However, when the feces were vacant in 1886, Olufadi had died, leaving Tunwase as the only qualified candidate. Tunwase became the 45th Awujale (1886-1895). Awujale, in 1925. in controversy when he was deposed and exiled to Ilorin in 1929.
“Simultaneously following tunwase’s outcast, Oduwole Obanlef Olufadi Family’s Rightful Claim to the Throne.

“As a result, the legitimate claim of Oduwole Obanlefa Olufadi was rejected, again depriving the Olufadi male line of his hereditary status. Although his request was rejected, he preserved the family’s claim for future generations. Despite having been a legitimate turn for more than a century, many direct descendants of Awujale Feusngen have remained in depth and committed the service public to which he promised his public service.
“The next selection is more than a real matter; it is about maintaining the heritage of Ijebu,” he said.
