The world fans of the late creator of Fuji's music, Dr. Sikiru Ayinde Barríster (MFR), praised the government of the state of Oyo for awarding a prize of merit on Thursday at the Egungun Festival of 2025 held in Ibadan on Thursday.
When presenting the prize in the name of the Government, Culture and Tourism Commissioner, Dr. Wasiu Olatubosun, emphasized that for Barrimer's credit it is Fuji as a genre among other indigenous brands of music in Nigeria.
“The person we all get to know how the catalyst that created Fuji's music is Alhaji Sikiru Ayinde Barrimer without any controversy,” he said.
