Nigerian Education Loan Fund (Nelfund) warned students to take care of a false portal with fraudulent messages that currently circulate online.
This is contained in a declaration in Abuja on Monday by the Director of Strategic Communications of the Fund, Mrs. Oseyemi Oluwatuyi.
Oluwatuyi said the information contained in the messages online was misleading.

“We want to categorically affirm that this website is false, and the information contained in the message is false and misleading.
“The only official portal for the Nelfund student loan application is: https://nelf.gov.ng“She said.
He urged the general public, especially students, parents and tutors, to avoid clicking on not verified links and never send personal or financial information on suspicious websites.
She promised Nelfund's commitment to transparency, security and equity in the loan application process, which the fund would always make ads through its verified platforms.
However, he appealed RO's students to inform any message or suspicious website in the background by email to [email protected].
