It seems that there is a war of words between Maverick's artist, Charly Boy and the political controversial, Dino Melayo, since the former hit Melaye's lifestyle and fashion options, just to receive a scathing instead.
The clash began when Charly Boy, known for his eccentric personality and his alternative lifestyle, publicly questioned the frequent samples of extravagant fashion melay, suggesting that they could be symptomatic of a deeper psychological problem such as depression.
This opinion did not sit well with the former senator, who did not waste time to deliver an answer.
In a statement that seemed to question Charly Boy's audacity to criticize him, Melayo described Charly Boy's comments as an ironic and hypocritical.
“It is really fascinating how some individuals, whose own existence is an action of rebellion against moral conventions, suddenly acquire the audacity to prescribe psychological diagnoses of the limits of their own eccentricity,” Melayo said.
He then criticized the long -standing image of Charly Boy as a rebel and countercultural figure, characterizing him as someone who has “drilled his own body on a canvas of chaos” and “cured a lifestyle that dances in the precipice of moral anarchy.”
According to Melaye, the artist's recent attack not stinks of a genuine concern but of a “calculated provocation wrapped in Ember”.

Melaye also questioned Charly Boy's qualifications to comment on mental health, stating: “When did Charly Boy become the dean of moral instruction? What credentials does he have in the clinic of human emotion to diagnose depression with the fashion lens?”
Refuting the suggestion that its vibrant clothing options are signs of emotional agitation, the former legislator defended his style as a celebration of culture and vitality. “Yellow, my dear Lord, is the color of vibration, of the gift in some cultures, not a symptom,” he said.
Melaye accused Charly Boy of disguising himself as a mockery as intellectual comments, stating that his extravagant criticism was nothing more than an attempt to “belittle another man's style” while ignoring his own contradictions. “We do not pretend intellectualism as we parade with the garment of hypocrisy,” he said precisely.
In a surprising closure, Melayo advised Charly Boy to participate in a self -reflection before issuing the trial. “Before he puts his extravagance to belittle the style of another man, he may consult the archives of his own history,” he warned.
From now on, Charly Boy has not yet issued a response to Melayo's refutation.
