Eyibah quoted the president of the Senate saying that “the Declaration of the Supreme Court in favor of Senator Okpebholo against Mr. Asue Ighodalo of the Democratic Party of the People (PDP) as the governor legitimately and constitutional of the state of Edo has shown that the elections are won on the ballot and by people who have identified with the base bases.
“This trial has again reaffirmed the fact that democracy is at stake and that the people of the state of Edo have adopted the congress of all progressives (APC), and popularly chose his favorite choice of Senator Okpebholo as his governor.
