Sadio Mane, who plays for Al Nassr, talked about his friendship with Georginio Wijnaldum. They used to play football together at Liverpool.
Mane said that when he lived in Liverpool, Wijnaldum visited his home a lot. They were very good friends.
In a chat shared by Liverpool Echo, Mane called Wijnaldum a kind person with a big heart.
Mane said, “Gini is one of my best friends. Our friendship is more than just football. We joined Liverpool at the same time, and Gini makes friends with everyone easily. Everybody likes him.”
Mane added, “He is special, and that’s why we became great friends. He was always visiting my house. Sometimes he’d call and I would joke, ‘Not yet, stay away!’”
Right now, Wijnaldum plays in Saudi Arabia for a team called Al-Ettifaq.
