Chuba Akpom was very happy after helping Ajax win against the Polish club, Jagiellonia Białystok, in a UEFA Europa League game on Thursday night.
Ajax won the game 4-1, and Akpom scored three goals.
The Nigerian striker scored the first goal to make the game even in the first half and then scored two more goals in the second half.
After the game, Akpom couldn’t hide how happy he was.
“It’s amazing. I thank God. I thank my teammates and all the staff for all the support. I had my best match in an Ajax shirt today (Thursday) so I’m happy,” Akpom told Ajax TV.
“Scoring goals is what I love to do. When I don’t score, I get frustrated. But I always stay positive and keep trying. I thank the coach for believing in me.”
