Former FIFA president Sepp Blatter is hospitalized in a “serious but stable” condition.
The disgraced 84-year-old former soccer boss is expected to recover after being rushed to safety on Thursday, according to reports from Switzerland.
His daughter Corinne announced the surprise to Blick, saying: “My father is in the hospital and is getting better every day. You need time and rest.
“On behalf of my family, I ask for privacy.”
Blatter was removed from FIFA’s top job in 2015 after 17 years at the helm of the football governing body.
He was accused of corruption throughout his time in office and was forced to resign before the 2015 elections.
