Here is a translation of the speech, which was delivered in Italian with a part in Spanish.

That peace is with all of you.

Beloved brothers and sisters. This is the first greeting of the risen Christ, the good shepherd, who gave his life for God.

I would also like this peace greeting to enter their hearts, reach their families, all people, wherever they are, for all people, to the whole earth.

That peace is with you.

That peace is with all of you, brothers and sisters.

May peace be with all of you, contact all your families, all people, all. This is the peace of the risen Christ, a unarmed and scattered peace, humble and persevering.

It comes from God, God who loves us all, unconditionally.

We still have that weak but always brave voice of Pope Francis blessing Rome.

We have that fresh voice in our ears, in our hearts, listening to the voice of the Pope Blessing of Rome, people, giving their blessing to the world, the whole world, that Easter morning.

Let me track that same blessing.

God loves us, God loves them all, and evil will not prevail. We are all in the hands of God.

Therefore, without fear, united, hand in hand with God and with each other, let's move forward.

We are disciples of Christ, Christ walks ahead of us, the world needs its light.

Humanity needs it as the bridge to be achieved by God and his love.

They also help us, then to each other, to build bridges, with dialogue, with encounter, to be always in peace.

Thanks Pope Francis.

I also want to thank all the cardinals of my brother who have chosen me to be Peter's successor and walk with you as a united church, always looking for peace and justice, always looking for working as men and women faithful to Jesus Christ, without fear, to proclaim the gospel, to be missionaries. I am the son of San Agustín, an Augustinian, who said: “Contis I am a Christian and for you Bishop.

In this sense, we can all walk together towards that homeland that God prepared us.

To the Church of Rome, a special greeting.

We must look together how to be a missionary church, a church that builds bridges, a dialogue, always open to receive, such as this place with open arms, all who need our beneficial organization, our presence, dialogue and love.

And now greeting in Spanish, please allow me.

Greetings to all and in particular my dear Diocese of Chiclayo, in Peru, where a faithful people have accompanied his bishop, has shared his faith and have given so much, both to continue being the faithful Church of Jesus Christ.

For all of you, brothers and sisters of Rome, from Italy, from the whole world, we want to be a synodal church, a church that walks, a church that always seeks peace, which always seeks charity, which always seeks to be close, especially for those who suffer.

Today, the day of the pleasure of Our Lady of Pompei, our Mother Maria always wants to walk with us, be close, help us with her intercession and love.

Now I would like to pray with you for this new mission, throughout the Church, for peace in the world.

Let's ask for this special grace of Mary, our mother.

Salve Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you.

Blessed that you are among women and blessed is the fruit of your sign, Jesus.

Santa Maria, Madre de Dios, says for us sinners.

Now, at the time of our death, Amen.
