The governor of the Niger, Mohammed Umaru Bago, held a meeting with his Edo counterpart, on Monday Okpebholo, where discussions about the strategic association were held.
The meeting that was held behind closed doors at the Niger state link office in Abuja, focused on several areas of mutual benefit between Niger and Edo.
Governor Umaru Bago described the meeting as fruitful as both parties will benefit immensely from the huge human and natural resources endowed in both states.
In statements to media practitioners after the meeting, the governor of the state of Edo, on Monday, Okpebholo, who described the farmer Umaru Bago as a brother said, the meeting focused on various areas of collaboration, especially in the area of ​​food sovereignty.
