The suspect and his son, on Thursday night, allegedly stabbed his younger brother, on Saturday, until death for a dispute involving two thousand naira in the Ugbokodo water room, Daily Post can report.

It was learned that two thousand naira belonging to the suspect's wife disappeared, and accused the deceased, who denied having stolen the earlier money in the day.

She insisted that he was responsible and seized her shirt during a heated discussion.

In the process, the allegedly slapped the wife of his older brother before the neighbors intervened and separate them.

Then, the woman called her husband, popularly known as Pope Jeffery, who hastened the scene with anger. Without asking what had happened between his wife and younger brother, according to reports, he asked one of his children to accompany him.

They continued on Saturday to the shore of the water, where they hit and stabbed him several times until he died.

After the incident, the young people angry in the Ugbokodo community mobilized and set fire to the house of the suspect and the store of his wife.

The rapid intervention of soldiers and police to control the situation was needed.
