Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra State, who is also a candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, won Electoral Unit 002, Umuezeadigo Street, Isuofia, Aguata Local Government Area, in Saturday’s gubernatorial election.
Soludo polled a total of 417 votes, while his closest rival, the APC candidate, received four votes and the Accord candidate polled only one.
Nigerian Tribune reported that a total of eight invalid votes were recorded out of 430 accredited voters in the electoral unit.
The result was officially announced at 5:30 pm by the President, Miss Obiorah Anwulike, our correspondent reports.
