Grammy Win: Peter Obi congratulates Tems

The former presidential candidate of the Labor Party, Peter Obi, congratulated the Nigerian singer Tems for her victory in the 67th Grammy Awards.

Tems won the best category of African musical interpretation for his song 'Love Me hehe', Beating Yemi Alade (Tomorrow), Asake & Wizkid (MMS), Chris Brown with Davido & Lojay (sensational) and Burna Boy (Higher).

In an X publication on Monday, Obi praised the Nigerian artists who obtained Grammy nominations and celebrated the prosperous entertainment industry of the country.

“I am always euphoric for the great success that Nigerian young people are doing in several fields, especially in the entertainment sector,” he wrote.

He praised Tem in his second victory in Grammy and reaffirmed his commitment to support young talents in Nigeria.

“Without a doubt, Nigeria is still home to the endless flow of talents that, through their creative arts, continue to put the nation on the global map,” he added.

OBI emphasized his vision even more for a nation that encourages youth development and maximizes its creative potential for national growth.
