Must Read

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday announced that a recent air attack killed Mohammed Sinwar, the elusive coast of Hamas in Gaza.

The strike brands of another high profile murder in the ongoing campaign of Israel leads Hamas' leadership. Despite such successes, the militant group maintains strong control over power in the strip of Gaza.

Mohammed Sinwar was Yahya Sinwar's brother, the former Hamas leader who was killed by Israeli forces in southern Gaza last October.

Netanyahu made the announcement during a speech at the Knéset, the Parliament of Israel.

“We change the face of the Middle East,” he said. “We push the terrorists of our territories, we enter the Fuerra de Gaza strongly, we eliminate tens of thousands of terrorists, we eliminate (Mohammad) Deif, (Ismail) Haniyeh, Yahya Sinwar and Mohammed Sinwar.”

The Israeli army previously launched a video that allegedly showed Mohammed Sinwar traveling in a car through a tunnel near Erez's crossing, near the Israel-Gaza border, on December 17, 2023.
