The veteran Nollywood actor, Kayode Olaasehinde, popularly known as Ajirebi, has opened his relationship with the filmmaker and producer Funke Akindele after the support of the actress during her difficult times.
Speaking in the Podcast program of Gbenga Olohunlana called ‘Osupa’ in Osaga TV on YouTube, Ajirebi praised Akindele’s generosity, remembering how he gave him financial assistance when he was struggling to ensure accommodation.
However, Ajirebi expressed his sadness because the relationship took a different turn later, and added that although Akindele prefers to give silent without attracting attention, his silence and retreat have left it careless.
Ajirebi also recognized other colleagues who have supported him, including Kunle AFOD, whom he described as constant support.
According to him, AFOD mobilized others to help him during his difficult period, allowing him to build a house in three weeks.
He even more appreciated the comedian Woli Agba and Ambassador Muritala Adeyemo, CEO of Pelican Company, who made him an ambassador of the company, gave him a car and assigned land for another project of the house.
He said: “Funke Akindele is a very good person, I pray for his parents to live more to enjoy the fruits of his work.
“I appreciate her so much. She saved me when I was fighting. He didn’t buy me an apartment. What hurt me is that he doesn’t choose my calls since he helped me, we had no misunderstanding.
“What I notice about her is that she doesn’t like to help and make it known. When it happened, she gave me money to rent an apartment and me.
“Kunle Aphod also tried, he has been doing things, he has been helping people for a long time, but they don’t know, people just discovered lately.
“When life happened to me then, he was the one who told Funke and other people, the money I got was enough to get a car, but I used the money to build a house. I built that house for three weeks.
“Afeez Owo, Woli Agba and some others also help. Someone from Abeokuta also defended me, Ambassador Muritala Adeyemo, the CEO of Pelican.
“He made an ambassador to his company, gave me a car and gave me another land to build another house.”
