The Nigerian music producer and founder of Mavin Records, Michael Collins Ajereh, professionally known as Don Jazzy, has opened how his search for success may have cost him the possibility of establishing himself early.
Speaking in the podcast Echo, the 42 -year -old was asked what part of himself he had to sacrifice his trip to become one of the most influential music executives in Africa.
In his response, Don Jazzy admitted that marriage is an aspect that he never expected to get lost at this age.
“I would still have been in the music industry, or probably an influencer,” he said.

“I never thought I was 40 years old and I wouldn’t get married, maybe I lost that. If it comes, if it doesn’t come, I’m totally well.”
Despite not being married, Don Jazzy emphasized that his career is fulfilled and the role he has played to discover and advise some of Nigeria’s largest stars, including Tiwa Savage, Rema and Ayra Starr.
His sincere revelation has caused new online discussions about the sacrifices that artists do while pursuing their dreams, and how professional success can sometimes come at the expense of personal life.
