The Nigerian singer, Deborah Oluwaseyi, professionally known as Seyi Shay, has opened about the true cause of her long dispute with her companion of the music star Tiwa Savage, revealing that a betrayal of her former personal assistant was at the root of her consequences.
Speaking in the OFFAIR program, Yolo Yolo singer revealed that his former personal assistant was having a secret adventure with the husband separated from Tiwa Savage, Tunji Balogun, popularly known as Tbillz.
According to Seyi Shay, the revelation occurred years later when he met his former assistant in London. The former staff member admitted the matter and apologized for being the reason behind the tension between the two singers.

“She told me that I was having a relationship with my girl’s [Tiwa Savage’s] husband and I didn’t even know. It must have been true; I don’t think she would say all that as a joke, ”said Seyi Shay.
The singer added that she understood why Tiwa Savage could have assumed that she was aware of the matter and believed that she toloned him.
“When she told me this, I was disgusted because we were rolling together and doing things together, while Tiwa probably thought I knew. You can imagine anger. It’s very painful. If that were me, I would have done it worse,” he added.
