Rapper and music executive Olamide Adedeji, known as Olamide Baddo, has shared that he is now focusing more on himself.

Olamide explained that he has reached a point in his career where self-prioritization has become necessary. He confirmed this during a recent interview with Flow 98.7 FM.

“Right now, I’m in the phase of my life where I’m really trying to give myself all the attention.

“My whole life, I’ve tried to be there for people and also do my own thing. But right now, I’m really trying to focus on myself 100 percent.”

Olamide has been a major contributor to the rise in the music industry through his label, YBNL. He has helped bring several artists into the spotlight including Lil Kesh, Young John, Pheelz, Fireboy DML, Lyta, Asake, Adekunle Gold and others.

It has also played a role in the number of artists who became known by appearing in their first projects. Those artists include Zlatan Ibile, Naira Marley, Portable, Bella Shmurda and many more.

Through these actions, Olamide has demonstrated the influence it has in the industry. But at this stage, he says, the focus is on his own growth and well-being.
