Nollywood actress, Annie Macaulay, has dropped a cryptic Instagram publication that many believe that she points to her separate marriage with innocent ‘2Baba’ idibia and her recent separation.
On Monday, she shared a text image that said: “I hope my daughter does not accept things that I have accepted, that she knows her value from the beginning and what happens, she always has me in her corner.”
The publication stirred the online reactions, and fans interpreted him as a veiled comment on the struggles he faced during his marriage.
Annie publicly confirmed his 2Baba separation in May 2025 in the 17th Headies Awards in Atlanta.

While co -presented a prize with Farooq Oreagba, he presented himself as “Annie Idi …” Before quickly correcting “Annie Macaulay”, and then added with a playful cry: “Hello, single ladies!” At the time he applauded and was widely seen as his first open recognition of the break.
2Baba had previously announced the end of his marriage in January 2025, marking the closure of a relationship once considered one of Nigeria’s most emblematic celebrity love stories.
The couple married in 2013 after more than a decade together and shared two daughters. But their union was marked by controversies, with the tabloids often that highlight the ties of 2Baba with but adeniyi and Sunmbo Inseoye, who took him to the children.
