Governor Uba Sani has promised to complete all projects within the mandate of his administration, promising that his government will not abandon any project.
The governor made this announcement during the innovative of the roads of the municipality in Rigasa Ward in the local government of Igabi of the state of Kaduna on Friday.
Speaking of Extempore in Hausa, the governor said that the route project will be executed without charging any debt, and added that his administration will not be indebted to any contractor who completes his project.
Governor Uba Sani also said that the four highway projects have been granted to China Civil Engineering Corporation (CCEC), a company that described as versatile and credible.
According to him, the project will be completed within a year, since it has already awarded 50% mobilization rates to CCEC.
The governor promised to transform Rigasa into a modern municipality with quality infrastructure and social services.
He described the ceremony as “not only on the ground; it is about rewarding hard work. It is about opening opportunities for the working people of the local government of Igabi.”
“Rigasa is one of the largest and largest neighborhoods of Nigeria. It is populated by the urban poor. It has suffered negligence for so long. Its infrastructure deficit is worrisome.”
Governor Sani said that despite its proximity to the city center and the home of working and ingenious citizens, Rigasa had been overlooked for too long.
He recalled the important support he received from Rigasa during the Government elections of 2023, noting that 32.06% of the total votes of Igabi Lga came from the room, and added that “because of this, I remain eternally grateful.”
Governor Sani emphasized that the project would directly benefit thousands of homes in the area.
“In the local government of Igabi there is a large part of the people who support us through their daily sacrifices as farmers, civil officials, businessmen and women.
“Through their sacrifices, they contribute significantly to our economy, as well as our GDP. Invest, therefore, in roads such as these will directly improve the livelihoods of thousands of homes,” he said.
Similarly, the governor made another innovative of the reconstruction of the Zango road in Tudun Wada Ward in Kaduna South Lga.
According to him, “I have an emotional bond to this area because I am a product of Kaduna Polytechnic.
“I understand and share the pains of the inhabitants of this area that have suffered negligence for decades. There is very little road infrastructure in this area.
“The existing few are in ruins. This area is populated by the urban poor who are making great contributions to the development of our beloved state,” he added.
Governor Uba Sani promised to convert the pains of Tudun Wada residents into Joy, adding that “today is the beginning of good things for Zango and other parts of Tudun Wada.”
“This path is very significant because it happens through several key establishments such as Zangle Cattle Market, animal feed stores, Sheikh Abubakar Gumi College, Islamic Medical Foundation and School of Health Technology, as well as its proximity to the city center of Kaduna and are linked to the Namdi Azikiwe Western by-Pass,” He added.
The governor said that his government has achieved significant progress in road construction and rehabilitation since he assumed the position.
“Under our rural revitalization agenda, we mark the construction of 85 roads that cover 785 km in the first phase, with 44 already completed and the rest at the end. Under the second phase, we are delivering more than 50 roads and bridges more for a total of 550 km,” he added.
