The billionaire of American technology, Larry Ellison, has surpassed Elon Musk as the richest person in the world after the actions in Oracle, the company that co -founded, increased sharply in early trade on Wednesday.

Ellison’s richness is not limited to Oracle. He has a participation in Tesla, where Musk is executive director, has a navigation team, the open tennis tournament of Indian Wells and Lanai Hawaiian island, Bloomberg reported.
The two men have nearby ties. Ellison sat at the Tesla Board between 2018 and 2022 and invested $ 1 billion in the purchase of Twitter Musk, now called X.
According to Musk’s biography of Walter Isaacson, when he was asked to support the Twitter agreement, Ellison replied that he would contribute one billion dollars or “whatever recommends.” It is also said that Musk visits Ellison Island frequently.
Ellison is in favor of Donald Trump and has appeared with the former White House president, even during the launch of the Stargate project of $ 500 billion aimed at building an artificial intelligence infrastructure of the United States.
Musk, who initially had a solid relationship with Trump, has also been a visible supporter of his 2024 campaign, although the relationship cooled earlier this year.
Oracle’s growth has been promoted by the increase in demand for AI companies for their cloud services. These services supply computer energy to companies such as the Chatgpt Openai developer, which require large -scale data centers to execute their systems.
Musk, who directs Tesla and the company of Cometes Spacex, first became the richest person in the world in 2021, before losing and recovering the title. After just over 300 days at the top, it has now been surpassed by Ellison, which is 81 years old.
