Some candidates for the presidency of the local government in the state of Lagos have expressed their satisfaction with the current primaries of all the progressives of Congress (APC).
The applicants announced their views in the Secretariat of the IKEJA party, the place of the primary, on Saturday.
It would be remembered that the Independent Electoral Commission of the State of Lagos (LASIEC) has set on July 12 for council surveys in the State.

No less than 1,500 party delegates were present to cast their votes for their respective applicants.
Speaking, an candidate for presidency for Ikeja LG, Mr. Akeem Dauda, ​​said the process was commendable.
Dauda pointed out that the method adopted by the leadership of the party to carry out the LG primaries was acceptable for many interested parties of the party.
“We appreciate the leadership of our party and the electoral committee to ensure that the main process remains transparent,” he said.
Also speaking, another applicant and current vice president of Ikorodu LG, Mrs. Folashade Olabanji-Ooba, described the process as a peaceful.
“Some people can discuss this, but honestly, I give it to the party, and I am proud of it,” said Olabanji-Ooba.
Highlighting how diligently the party had already served people in the bases, the applicant said that if it arose as the winner, it would be a call to serve an increasing capacity.
On the inclusion of women in government, he said: “I celebrate my great party, simply the best party for the inclusion of women. What the party has done is incredible to provide opportunities to women.
“We've never had so much recognition as we now. It couldn't be better,” he added.
He applauded the belief of President Bola Tinubu in the inclusion of women, saying that the APC leader was always a step ahead.
“Women are nations builders, and there is no way we can deprive half of the population. This is a future for women,” he said.
In addition, Mr. Larinde Ajibola, another candidate for the area of ​​development of the Local Council of Eyokoro (LCDA), described the process as smooth, peaceful and transparent, emphasizing that the supremacy of the party remained sacrosanct.
Ajibola, a 31 -year -old candidate who described himself as the youngest of the race, urged the interested parties of the party to give young people more space.
He praised the manifesto of President Bola Tinubu, which includes youth and inclusion development.
“Thuswaju (Tinubu) has said that young people will have a certain percentage in these local government elections, and we hope that the promise will be fulfilled.
“If I am chosen, my first agenda will be youth empowerment, access to finance and safety of lives and property,” Ajibola said.
Another presidency candidate, Mr. Tayo Aderinola from Ikeja LG, said he was ready to accept the result of the primary elections.
Aderinola, who previously resigned from another applicant, promised to give his full support to the party candidate.
