NNPC, Dangote strengthens the strategic association towards Nigeria's energy security

As part of the ongoing efforts to promote mutually beneficial associations and foster healthy competition, Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.) and Dangote Petroleum Refinery & Petrophemicals (DPRP) have committed themselves to deepen the collaboration aimed at guaranteeing energy safety and the shared prosperity of Nigeria for Nigeria.

This commitment was made during a courtesy visit by the president/executive director of Dangote Group, Mr. Aliko Dangote, and his delegation to the CEO of the NNPC Ltd. group, Mr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari and members of the company's senior team in NNPC Towers.

During the visit, Dangote promised to collaborate with the new NNPC administration to guarantee Nigeria's energy security.

“There is no competition among us, we are not here to compete with NNPC Ltd. NNPC is an integral part of our business and we are also part of NNPC.

“This is an era of cooperation between the two organizations,” Dangote added.

While congratulating the GCEO and senior management team for its “well -deserved quotes,” Dangote acknowledged the enormity of responsibility ahead, pointing out that the GCEO is assuming a monumental task, which expressed its confidence that, with hands capable of your disposal in NNPC, the task is survey.

In his comments, the GCEO, Mr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari, assured Dangote of a mutually beneficial association anchored in a healthy competition and productive collaboration.

Ojulari highlighted the exceptional caliber of the talent he met in NNPC Ltd., describing the workforce as dedicated professionals, highly qualified and workers who are constantly interested in offering value for Nigeria.

Expressing the company's preparation to build a legacy of national prosperity through innovation and shared purpose, Ojulari said NNPC will maintain its collaboration with the Dangote group, especially when there is a commercial advantage for Nigeria.

Both executives also promised to be the managers of relations for their respective organizations through a sustained productive collaboration and a healthy competence, thus imagining unlimited opportunities for both organizations.
