No less than 1,539 delegates from 20 areas of the local government and 37 LCDA in Lagos, on Saturday, converged in the Secretariat of Congress All Progressives (APC) in IKEJA, Lagos, to choose candidates for the next local government elections.
The number represents 27 delegates of each of the 20 LGA and 37 LCDA in the state.

Presidency 57 candidates are expected to leave the year at the end of the exercise that represents the party in the survey.
The election of the local government is scheduled to be held on July 12.
