Must Read

The people who run Kano State have decided that no one can move around the area on Saturday because there is a big voting day for local leaders.

Mr. Baba Halilu Dantiye, who helps spread important news to everyone, shared this information on Friday. He said this rule is to keep everyone safe while people choose their local leaders.

Dantiye explained that people need to stay where they are between midnight and 6 pm on voting day so everything stays calm and peaceful when everyone is picking their leaders.

“Only people who have important jobs, like helping with the elections, keeping watch for safety, or writing news stories about it, can move around during this time.

“The government kindly asks everyone to listen to this rule and help the safety workers. We hope all the people will kindly choose their leaders without causing trouble.”

The safety helpers are ready all over the 44 areas with special places to check if people are following the rule,” he said.

Professor Lawal Malumfashi, who helps make sure the elections are fair, told the people they are ready to run fair elections and invited everyone to come and vote. He mentioned that groups like Action Alliance, Zenith Labour Party, and New Nigeria Peoples Party, and others are taking part in the election.

Malumfashi said, “We have made plans to make sure the elections are fair and peaceful all over the 44 areas of Kano State.”
