Netanyahu confirms the high fire in conflict with Iran

Must Read

The Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has confirmed that Israel agreed to stop the fire with Iran, marking a possible pause in more than a week of mortal conflicts caused by strikes on nuclear facilities and the attacks of reprisals of Iran.

El Alto El Fuego, proposed by the United States, is now in force, according to President Donald Trump.

The announcement follows a tense escalation. On Monday, Iran launched missiles at the US Air Base. Udeid in Qatar. This occurred two days after US forces bombarded three Iranian nuclear sites in response to Tehran's growing threats.

“In the light of achieving the objectives of the operation, and in full coordination with President Trump, Israel agreed to the proposal of the president of a bilateral fire,” Netanyahu said Tuesday.

“Israel will respond strongly to any rape of the high fire.”

Netanyahu described the results of the “Operation Rising Lion” as a great success. He affirmed that Israel had “achieved great historical achievements and placed itself with the world powers.”

He also thanked the United States for his role. “Israel thanks President Trump and the United States for his support in defense and his participation in the elimination of Iranian nuclear threat,” he said.

Iran, however, has not officially confirmed the high fire.

Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Tehran “had no intention of continuing our response” while Israel stops his attacks.

At 1:08 am et, Trump published on social networks: “The high fire is now in force. Please, do not violate it! Donald J. Trump, president of the United States!”

Despite the agreement, hostilities have continued.

Just before Netanyahu's statement, Israel's defense forces (FDI) reported that Iran had launched missiles north of Israel.

“Recently, alerts were activated in northern Israel after the detection of missiles launched from Iran to the Israeli territory,” said the FDI.

One of those missiles hit Sheva in southern Israel, killing five people and hurting several others.

According to Magen David Adom (MDA), the victims included a man and a woman in about 40 years and a man of about 20 years.

Two others were moderately injured. Twenty more were treated for minor injuries and anxiety.

Rescue teams and soldiers recorded through the debris at the attack site, highlighting the fragile reality of the high fire.

Trump has minimized Iran's answer, calling it “very weak.”

He has not indicated if the United States will take more military measures.

For now, the world observes whether the high fire will remain, or collapse under renewed fire.
