The police commissioner, command of the state of Niger, CP Adamu Abdullahi Elleman, on Thursday received newly elected executives from the Democratic Party of the Peoples (PDP), chapter of the state of Niger, at the Command Headquarters, Dutsen-Kura, Minna.
The delegation was directed by the president of the state PDP, the Hon. Aliyu Mohammed Hallidu. In his comments, Halidu thanked the commissioner for the reception and explained that the visit was to officially present other executives, and strengthen relations with the command.
He also praised the police for his role during the party’s elections, noting that the rapid deployment and proactive measures helped to guarantee a process without problems.
In his response, CP Elleman congratulated Hallidu for his appearance as state president and expressed his satisfaction with the peaceful conduct of the elections. He welcomed the visit and assured that the police would continue to be non -partisan while providing a safe environment so that all political parties operate.
The CP also declared that the police would continue to carry out their in -line duties with professional standards and ethics. He thanked PDP executives for once again for the visit and wished them success in their mandate.
