The general director of the National Institute of Legislative and Democratic Studies (Nilds), Professor Abubakar Sulaiman, has praised the Chief of Staff (COS) to the President, FEMI GBAJABIAMILA, for his contributions to the construction of the democratic institutions of Nigeria.
He shower in the former president of the ninth House of Representatives on the occasion of his 63rd birthday on Wednesday.
According to Sulaiman, Gbajabiamila is a distinguished statesman whose contributions to democratic governance and legislative development in Nigeria remain indelible.
In a message to celebrate the COS, which was born on June 25, 1962, Sulaiman said that since the days of Gbajabiamila as a minority leader of the majority leader and, ultimately, as president of the ninth House of Representatives, he exhibited unusual leadership, legislative insight and a deep commitment to the construction of the Nation.
The DG declared: “Gbajabiamila has played a fundamental role in strengthening Nigeria's democratic institutions.
“Its legacy, particularly in promoting legislative reforms, promoting a solid parliamentary commitment and deepening democratic culture, is worthy of praise.”
Sulaiman also recognized the current role of Gbajabiamila as head of the president's cabinet, noting that his great experience continues to serve the nation at the highest levels of government.
He wanted the former speaker to continue good health, wisdom and the greatest achievements in service to the country.
